About Us

Empowering Children Through Reading

Riddles Education Initiative is a research-driven literacy program committed to improving reading outcomes among primary school children in The Gambia. We work closely with parents, schools, and communities to address reading challenges early and create strong foundations for lifelong learning. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to read with confidence, understanding, and joy.

When children learn to read with confidence, their world opens. That belief is at the heart of everything we do.

Who We Are

Structured Reading Interventions

Riddles Education Initiative was established to respond to growing concerns about reading difficulties faced by children in primary schools. Guided by research and practical experience, our work focuses on identifying gaps in literacy development and delivering targeted interventions that support children both in and outside the classroom.

Our approach combines structured reading support, parental engagement, and community involvement to ensure sustainable and meaningful impact.
